Ipswich 0 – Brighton 2

Brighton ended their eight-match winless run in the league with a 2-0 win at Ipswich. With goals from Kaoru Mitoma and Jorginho Rutter in English Premier League Football.

In the 59th minute, Brighton took the lead 1-0. Yacine Ayari broke away on the right before passing to Matt O’Reilly. Who had no angle to shoot and passed to Kaoru Mitoma who fired a right-footed shot that deflected past Christian Walton into the goal. 

Brighton almost got one more in the 67th minute when Jorginho Rutter headed the ball to Joao Pedro who turned and fired a left-footed shot into the box but Walton made a superb save to deny the home side a second. 

The visitors made it 2-0 in the 81st minute when Danny Welbeck flicked a free kick near the near post, allowing Jorginho Rutter to swung a right-footed shot into the near post. VAR checked for offside before confirming the goal.

In the remaining time, Ipswich could not break the deadlock, ending the game with Brighton winning 2-0, their first win in the last 9 matches.
